With the establishment of the NRRP (National Recovery and Resilience Plan), financed through the ‘NextGenerationEU’ fund, the Italian Ministry of Culture sought to invite project proposals subject to the criteria laid out.
Within the ambit of “Regeneration of small cultural sites, cultural, religious and rural heritage”, and “Programs to enhance the identity of places: historic parks and gardens”, Palladium Group & Villa Arconati S.r.l. presented a project proposal for the restoration and enhancement of the historic park and garden of Villa Arconati, located by Bollate, Milano.
The project was accepted, with the client signing an integrated procurement contract covering the executive design and construction of the works. These works included the recovery and restoration of several buildings, known as “Serrette” within the villa complex.
In particular, the interventions concerned structural consolidation and energy efficiency measures, as well as the preparation of necessary interventions in order to make parts of the “Serrette” complex habitable.
Bestmind was engaged as the team responsible for Works Management and Safety Coordination during the execution phase.
